The punter continues to lead the bookie in the season-long betting challenge following Kerry Dixon's win on the Middlesbrough result.
It's a reverse of last season's form, Paddy Power missing out by only believing the Blues would draw on Saturday while Kerry backed a Chelsea/Chelsea half-time full-time.
Now they turn their attention to tonight's Roma game.
'I'm happy to still be a short head in front of Paddy at this early stage, particularly as I extended my lead by showing more faith in Chelsea at the weekend than he did,' says Kerry.
'It's nice to be up an a bookie for once but I'm not surprised he is going for the win tonight and I can't disagree with that assessment.
'The Premier League is continuing to look strong in Europe and although I don't expect us to find Roma as easy to break down as Inter Milan seemed to at the weekend, I see potential goalscorers throughout a Chelsea team that will only get stronger as more players come back from injury.
'Even if Totti is fit for them, I can't see the Italians breaking the current run of five games without a goal conceded. So I'm splitting my £50 down the middle on Chelsea to win 2-0 and 3-0 at 5/1 and 8/1.'
Paddy responds: 'Man United and Arsenal did England proud yesterday in the Champions League and I believe Chelsea will follow suit tonight.
'I think Chelsea will win and win convincingly, it's hard to see a weakness in this Chelsea team and this is a team playing without Drogba and Essien.
'I'm going to be bold and open up my betting on this game with a straight £25 on Chelsea beating Roma 3-0. It's 8/1 with Paddy Power and I can't see Roma getting anywhere near the Chelsea goal.
'Chelsea are playing a more aesthetically pleasing brand of football and no longer grind teams down so I'm putting £20 on Chelsea half-time/Chelsea full-time at 11/10. My remaining fiver is going on Salomon Kalou to score the first goal at 6/1.'
In winnings from their free £50 charity bets, Kerry has made £112.50, Paddy £50. The bigger total will be handed to CLIC Sargent at the end of the season.
