PADDY POWER PREVIEWS HULL

Chelsea will be jumping straight back into action on Wednesday night when they travel to play the Premier League's surprise package Hull City.

The Blues may have hoped for an easier game after the defeat to Liverpool but at the same time if they are to live up to the tag of league favourites, they can't afford to slip up to Hull.

It's no surprise that Paddy Power make Chelsea 4/9 to beat Hull who are a massive 7/1 to win at their home ground.

Hull City currently sit third in the Barclays Premier League above both Arsenal and Manchester United. The Tigers have beaten Newcastle, Arsenal and Tottenham this season and you can guarantee they'd love to add the a victory over Chelsea to this impressive collection.

But Hull have beaten all these teams on the road, their home form is not as impressive having won just twice at the KC Stadium. Chelsea on the other hand has a 100 per cent record away from Stamford Bridge and they have conceded just one goal in all their away Premier League games so far.

Correct score
5/1 Chelsea 1-0
11/2 Chelsea 2-0
7/1 Chelsea 2-1
17/2 Chelsea 3-0
10/1 Chelsea 3-1

Manager Phil Scolari saw enough on Sunday for him to draft Joe Cole straight back into the Chelsea XI for the match at Hull. He'll bring that spark and invention in and around the opposition penalty area that was missing against Liverpool.

Didier Drogba has returned to training and could be in line for an appearance at the weekend but this match at Hull has probably come too soon. But take a look at the prices for Joe Cole to score the first goal; he's 13/2, which is cracking value when you consider how many chances in a game Cole creates.

First scorer
4/1 Anelka
5/1 Lampard
6/1 Kalou
13/2 Joe Cole
15/2 Malouda
10/1 Deco
16/1 Belleti
