After putting his name to two goals in the 5-0 win at Middlesbrough on Saturday, Salomon Kalou insists we have the belief to win every game we play.
The Ivorian twice capitalised on space inside the home side's penalty area to take his season's tally to four goals, with other strikes coming courtesy of Juliano Belletti, Frank Lampard and Florent Malouda.
The three points acquired at the Riverside maintain our place at the head of the Premier League, and Kalou insists we must now have the necessary confidence to believe we will come out on top in every match.
'The focus is to win, the more we win the more we reach our goal to finish first. We can win every game, and we have to go for it and show we want to win,' said the 23-year-old.
'The most important thing is that at the end of the game, we win. Every game is difficult, but we have to fight until the end in every game and try to be focused on ourselves.'
The win on Teesside was our sixth in the league this season, and stretches our unbeaten run that goes back to December last year.
It has already been hailed by Frank Lampard as the best team performance of the season so far, despite the number of injuries in Luiz Felipe Scolari's squad.
'Injuries don't affect training, what's important is every game we have to be ready with seven on the bench. Today we had 18 players to come here and fight.
'We came here and tried to keep the balance of the team, and we managed to do that well. Today we showed we can play a good game.'
Kalou, by no means a guaranteed starter himself when all are fit, insists such results can only help lift the spirits of squad players.
'It gives confidence that we can bring something to the team, we are really focused on that, and the aim is to win games and score goals. Every game we go with the same spirit,' he said.
'Today we had a lot of chances and put good balls in, but it is also good to keep some goals for another time and concentrate on the next game.'
That comes in the form of Roma on Wednesday evening, as attention reverts to European football. Kalou will be hoping for a repeat of the weekend.
