14 Chance Kalou's shot is soft and straight at Reina after the ref plays the advantage, Lampard having been sent flying by Carragher as he passes.

Second-half.
Kick-off
Liverpool.
51 Attack A promising opening goes to waste as Malouda, found by Lampard, opts to cross rather than shoot inside the area but only hits the nearest defender.
53 Booked Malouda for bringing down Arbeloa 10 yards outside the Chelsea area.
55 Booked Ashley Cole for tripping Carragher while chasing down. It looks a harsh decision.
57 Shot Kuyt drills an effort 10 yards wide from a position out on the right.
57 Chelsea substitutions It's both wideman off, Kalou and Malouda replaced by Belletti and Di Santo, who makes it two up front with a man less in midfield.

Comment The game is the one chosen for Chelsea to show support for Kick It Out's One game, One Community campaign against all forms of discrimination in the game. The players wear t-shirts displaying the campaign's name before the game and Paul Canoville and Ken Monkou lead the sides out. Ashley Cole returns from a hamstring injury in the one change from the Roma win. John Terry equals Roy Bentley on 367 games, moving him equal 15th in the club's all-time list. Frank Lampard makes his 250th Premier League start for Chelsea. Liverpool play Alonso and Mascherano behind Gerrard in central midfield and go ahead at Stamford Bridge for the first time since January 2004. Though Chelsea come back strongly towards the end of the first half, the teams are too evenly matched in the second period and the Liverpool defence too great an obstacle to save this one. The record-breaking home league run comes to an end on 86 games. Down to second.
