Joe Cole returned to the starting line-up at the KC Stadium after being sidelined with injury.
Despite their impressive start to the season, Chelsea dominated Hull throughout the game, although the Tigers did see the odd flicker of hope towards in the second half.
It was a very cold night in Hull for the Barclays Premier League clash where Chelsea romped home to a 3-0 victory.
